LOCATION: Navan, Co. Meath
RATE OF PAY: ?Depending on experience
Health Care Assistant required to support a man with a disability
living in his own home. The position involves joining a team of Health
Care Assistants, guided by a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM2) and the
individual?s family. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of
supporting someone to live an independent life in their community.
Hours will generally be from **Apply on the website**am ? 8pm
REQUIREMENTS
* Fetac Level 5 in Health Care
* Experience of working in a home care setting
* People Moving and Handling Experience
* A good knowledge of infection control measures and good hygiene
practices
* Excellent teamwork skills
* Caring and Compassionate
* Some weekend work will be required
DESIRABLE
* Experience of working with adults with tracheostomy and ventilation
* Full Clean driving Licence
* An understanding of the philosophy of Independent Living.
